What is your working process for a design project or private commission?

I usually work from photographs or reference images. Often my clients have a clear idea of what they want, they just need help visualising it. Some clients provide a squiggle on a piece of paper, others have a full PowerPoint presentation. I work using pencil, pen and watercolour but also draw digitally using my graphics tablet.

What do you charge?

I have a basic rate that starts from £40 per hour and an average illustration takes between three and four hours. My rate varies on the skills I’m using and complexity of job. If you would like to see my rate card please contact me.

How do I commission a piece of art?

It’s easier than you think. Some clients communicate solely through WhatsApp others email, phone calls and face to face. Whatever works best for us both.

Can I sign up for a course?
