Ordering

Custom or commissioned artwork will be discussed individually, with clear confirmation of requirements before work begins.

Orders can be placed through our website or by contacting us directly.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Payment must be made in full before goods are dispatched or, in the case of commissions, before final delivery.

We accept card payments, bank transfers, and other methods as listed at checkout.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch stock items within 3 working days.

Delivery times for commissioned or custom artwork will be confirmed individually.

We are not responsible for delays outside our control (e.g., postal or courier delays).

Returns and Refunds

Non-custom products can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided they are unused and in original condition.

Custom or commissioned artwork cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty or damaged.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photographs so we can resolve the issue.

Commissions (Custom Artwork)

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed price is required before work begins.

The remaining balance must be paid in full before final artwork is delivered.

Commission timelines will be agreed in advance; delays caused by lack of client feedback or changes to the brief may affect delivery dates.

The commission fee covers 2 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

All artwork remains the copyright of Design Cottage unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Commissioned artwork is for personal use only unless commercial usage rights are purchased separately.

We reserve the right to share commissioned work in our portfolio, on our website, or social media, unless you request otherwise in writing before the project begins.

Intellectual Property

All artwork, illustrations, designs, and website content are the intellectual property of Design Cottage unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use our work without prior written permission.

Commissioned artwork remains the copyright of Design Cottage unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Website Use

You agree not to use our website for unlawful or harmful purposes.

We do not guarantee that our website will always be available or free from errors.

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our website, services, or products.

Our liability to you in connection with any product will not exceed the total price paid for that product.

Design Monthly Print Club Specific T’s & C’s.

Design Cottage Monthly Print Club – Terms & Conditions

1. About the Print Club

The Design Cottage Print Club is a monthly subscription service where members receive a curated pack of illustrated items such as prints, stickers, postcards, greeting cards, bookmarks and other paper goods. Exact contents vary month to month.

2. Pricing & Payment

  • UK subscribers: £7 per month
  • International subscribers: £10 per month
  • All prices include packaging; shipping is included unless otherwise stated.
  • Payments are taken monthly via recurring payment (Direct Debit or card subscription depending on platform chosen).
  • By subscribing, you authorise recurring payments until you cancel.

3. Billing Dates

  • Payments are processed on the same date each month, starting from the date you sign up.
  • If a payment fails, we may retry it up to 3 times. If it still fails, your subscription may be paused or cancelled.

4. Shipping

  • Monthly packs ship between the 1st and 7th of each month (you can adjust this).
  • UK orders usually arrive within 2–5 working days.
  • International orders may take 1–4 weeks depending on location.
  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • You can cancel anytime.
  • To receive the upcoming month’s pack, cancellations must be made before the next billing date.
  • Since the packs are made to order, we do not offer refunds once a payment has been taken, unless required by law or your pack arrives damaged.

6. Damaged or Missing Packs

If your pack arrives damaged or does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us within 14 days with your order details so we can replace it.

7. Change of Address

It is the subscriber’s responsibility to update their address before packs are dispatched. We cannot replace items sent to an old address.

8. Content & Designs

All artwork is created by Design Cottage. Designs in the print club are exclusive or early-release items and should not be reproduced or resold.

9. Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or pause the print club at any time. If this happens, subscribers will be notified and any future payments refunded.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
